Meet Theresa, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
I’ve had personal experience with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, infertility, and food allergies/intolerances. It’s guided my work as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and is why I specialize in these conditions. So many times in my journey I found myself thinking “thank goodness I do what I do” because food has been instrumental in helping me feel better. I want to help others feel better through food too.
Not only do I know the science of how to help, but, I have an understanding and empathy for what you’re going through that you may not find in other healthcare providers. I know the science and application of established and emerging evidence-based treatments, and I’ve been through many of them myself. Because I have a vested interest in these conditions, I stay on the cutting edge of research in these fields.
I work with people who want to feel normal again and live life with as few restrictions as possible. My objective is to maximize what and where you can eat and not to put you on an overly restrictive diet. One of my main goals is to help you improve your quality of life. There is no such thing as perfection, so we’ll work on helping you do the best you can to balance nutrition with real life. You’re going through a tough time. Let’s try to make life feel as normal as possible.
